Our partner organizations are vital to ensuring a complete and accurate census count in 2020. They play a key role in raising awareness, answering questions, and encouraging their community members to participate.

This once-a-decade count is critically important. The census affects your voice in government, how much funding your community receives, and how your community plans for the future. When members of your community are informed about the census, they are more likely to participate.

Who Are Census Partners?

Hundreds of organizations have committed to supporting the 2020 Census. These corporations, nonprofits, and policymakers are helping spread the word about how to complete the census and why it's important to participate.

Other groups working to support the 2020 Census include:

  • Tribal governments. These governments play a critical role in ensuring a complete and accurate count among American Indian and Alaska Native populations. Learn more about the Census Bureau's relationship with tribal governments.
    • Congressional and intergovernmental leaders. These groups help educate and engage their constituents about the 2020 Census. Learn more about the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.
    • Complete Count Committees. These volunteer committees are established by tribal, state, and local governments along with community leaders or organizations to increase awareness and motivate residents to respond to the 2020 Census.
